Taking down your releases from your Spinnup artist account means they will then be removed from Spotify, Apple Music and all our other partner stores.
As part of Spinnup’s 2022 service change, artists are being asked to take down their releases. If you don’t do this yourself before December 1st 2022, we will automatically take them down for you. It’s not a problem if you want us to take down the releases for you, but please note that you will not be able to download your audio and artwork files after your releases are taken down.
If you would like to take down your releases manually, follow the steps below.
To takedown your releases from your Spinnup account and remove them from stores:
- Login to your Spinnup account
- Go to ‘My Releases’
- Optional – click the download button to the right of each release cover art to download your audio and artwork files. Read our article on how to download your assets for more information.
- Click ‘Subscription’ next to the release/s you want to remove
- Go to ‘Remove Release’
After you have deleted your release from within your Spinnup account you will receive an email from our team confirming this.
Then it will take approximately 1-7 days for your release to be taken down from the stores.
