If you don’t want to use Spinnup anymore, and move your music from Spinnup to another distributor, you’ll need to follow the below to make it a smooth transition.
- Make note of all the UPC (for releases) and ISRC codes (for all the individual tracks) of the music you are moving
- Upload your music on your new distribution service using exactly the same metadata, audio files, cover art as your original releases you made on Spinnup, as well as the ISRCs and UPCs, if possible.
- Wait until your new releases are live in stores to make sure your streams have matched. As soon as this has happened, log back into your Spinnup account and take down your releases from our service.
Please keep in mind that it can take up to four months to receive your last sales report so make sure to check back in on your account so you can withdraw all the royalties you earned from those releases when they were distributed by Spinnup.
If you want to completely close your account, fill out this form and select the option 'Transferring from Spinnup' after you’ve withdrawn your final royalties and they’ll be able to do this for you.
We wish you all the best with your music career and we’re sorry to see you go!
If we can convince you to stay, check out all the reasons you should choose Spinnup.
